Carrying kids bike on a roof bike carrier

Guys, looking for some advise.

I have Thule wing bar edge bars and was wondering if anybody has used the Thule bike carrier to carry a kids bike (18 inch frame). I'm a bit worried the bike is too small.

Would rather have the bike on the roof than messing up my boot. If carrier isn't an option, I can always tie him and the bike to the back of the car and he can peddle behind!!!!

Carry the kids on the roof.

That way you'll get some peace and quiet
