Thanks in advance

Nope...You are almost out 2 years of warranty. Should be cheaper here..Unless you ask them to tack on another few years of service/warranty/free maintenance on top of the original one in writing.

Doesn't the warranty start when the the car is purchased? I have a very late build 2014 435i and didn't get the car until Late July 2014. So I'm only 1.5 years (if that) into my factory warranty.

I have to say 38-39k w/o extra warranty/free maintenance or 40k w/extra warranty/free maintenance added in writing. Remember here, its a 2yr old car, since '16 are out, you are losing 2 years of warranty & free maintenance, the car has 185 miles, which probably is a demo. Even a '15 with those options can be selling in the mid 40's range...I find it interesting to have '14 sitting in the lot here EOY 15...I think you should research further, make sure nothing is wrong/fixed. Good Luck!! I hope others will chime in.

No. Because they took it out and it has 185 miles on the car already.

Hope this helps.

I think OP needs to find out whether or not the car is warranted for the full 4-years. I didn't see anything in the listing stating that it was a Demo. But even if it was a Demo, I'm thinking OP will have no problem getting the full 4-year 55K mile warranty (50K if not a demo).

OP will not get the full warranty unless the extra warranty added on in writing when purchase. Since the car has been driven before, I'm pretty sure the warranty has been activated already. I'm trying to cover all the bases here and OP not coming back here that no one told OP the warranty has been out for 2 years already. OP needs to push for the additional warranty in writing if OP choose to purchase this car.

Could they CPO the car and get extended warranty that way?

I don't think they can CPO the car because I believe the car has NOT been titled or the ad would have indicated CPO.

Just got back from the dealer. Your right there is only 2 years left on the warranty. The most they can drop to is 41k 😞 So I took a pass on the car. I'm going to save a bit more money and get a m2 instead. I test drove a CPO m235i and it doesn't feel as good as the 435i

http://www.bmwbayside.com/vehicle/587478 They are selling this one at 40k and no less.

Sweet......run over to the M2 forum for your research...Tick off the boxes you want...at least, your M2 is made to order..Enjoy the ride..come back to show us pics.. Those Michellin Pilot Super Sport are some sticky tires...can't wait for spring to come, so I can put them back on
