Harris on Top Gear

I may be late to the party on this one but I see Top Gear have signed up Chris Harris! I think that's excellent. I love his reviews on youtube. He really knows his stuff.
However I can't help thinking that by the end Top Gear had become more of a comedy than a car show. Not something I see Harris as doing.

It's a strange quartet.

I can't picture in my head how they'll bounce off each other, but we will see soon enough.

Harris is excellent and I think he will do well. I cant see David Coulthard doing well and dont know what he will bring, he has zero personality!

Looking at the lineup I think they are aiming more in Fifth Gears direction and back to what it was like back in the day. Looks like it will be more about driving and the cars than the entertainment side of things. I cant see what sort of chemistry these guys will have, but Chris knows how to present, Sabine knows how to drive and Harris offers the journalistic view... Coulthard... needs to do something now that the BBC have cut short their F1 contract.

Chris isn't the best presenter. I'd also put Sabine third in line in the driving stakes. Harris is comfortably the better driver between those two, but obviously Coulthard has the highest pedigree.
