All Sorted For Christmas, everything done :)

Well we got up at 06:45, popped over to the butchers for 07:30, picked up all our orders - Venison this year.

Popped over the road to Coop, picked up our drinks order (£16 for Tanqueray) some odds and ends.

Got home and veg from allotment was waiting.

Dog walked, all sorted

Who else is all set for the Big Bloke arriving ?

Wife at work today, so might be a Fallout 4 session

We're freakishly ready here which can only mean we've forgotten something major.

Turkey and beef this year both were collected this morning. Booze is in, all the nibbles are bought. Presents are all wrapped and awaiting Santa's delivery. Bikes are built and also with Santa.

Seriously, what is left that I've forgotten? :

My sis and me chipped in for a presen for the parents this year, a winter cruise.

So neither has to do the 'hosting parents' routine this year

Have buried my inlaws so no hassle from that direction.

Daughter is Christmas Day and bit of Boxing Day, then she's off to her boyfriends.

Peace and tranquillity (or peace and Tanqueray. )

Offered to drive wife to work, however was told no, as she knows I just want her 208 lol... Bugger

Is 10am too early for a Christmas Port ?

You lucky lucky bastards

I had to complete most of my Christmas prep by last weekend as I'm working up to Christmas Eve (off until the 4th after that though ).

Happy Christmas all! - Enjoy!

I am grateful for the fact I have it easy compared to most.

GF does all the family gift shopping; we just split the cash at the end!

I only have to buy for my GF, of which I did most online on Black Friday.

We stay with GF's parents who always host extremely well.

Life is good.

I'm working all day tomorrow (retail sucks) but then off for 3 days

Spent 2 nights building Santa stuff and wrapping. Learned lessons from previous years in building things on Christmas Eve: very stressful and hard to do on the juice. Funny how every year when you go to wrap it all you realise you have far far too much.

Got the wine in already, need to pick up a few beers and a nice spirit (still undecided), and also a nice cider to cook the ham in. Looking at laphroig and grey goose here in the airport but the prices are scandalous.

I think I picked up a 1.5L bottle of Cask Strength Laphroig last time I was in duty free.

My favourite for those 5 weekers in China.

Work finished and all packing and wrapping done. Easy journey to Folkestone this morning, and nice bright blue skies all the way. Currently letting the wife plod through Belgium and Netherlands so that I can sleep before my traditional autobahn stint... That's my real Christmas present!

I fly twice a week buts its only between GB and NI. Prices going outside EU are great, it's the rest of us that get ripped off!

Mostly done.
Finish work today then off till the 5th so a nice long break...
Inlaws (outlaws) for a few days over Christmas, home for a few then "up north" to see the mother for new year. No doubt the little ones will go mental in the back of the car during the trip up north so there's something to look forward to at least...

Wii U is very good. Ours have had it a while & love it, Lego City is a real favourite. Good interaction & they use it for utube streaming & all sorts.

The presents have been bought; the food is in the fridges; Watsey junior arrived this afternoon, in one hell of a rush.

We're all set for Christmas

Pick up the order from village butcher, Turkey crown, pigs in blankets, ham etc. Booze all done, Christmas train under the tree all set up and running and built the little fellas' train table set yesterday.

Best of all sent the ladies out for the morning for a pampering day, nails and all that tosh, whilst I do village and veg for tomorrow. Best £100 I'll spend as it equates to about £10000 in man brownie points for the festive season.

Merry Chrimbo all.

Finish at 15:30 today. Car loaded to the brim with presents, beer, champagne and whisky. Off to sister in laws in Black Heath for the big day. They have a one and a half year old son, and my wife and I are his god parents, so looking forward to seeing his face

Hohoho!
