Going, going... gone
My beloved E90 is gone ... what should I get ?
That is the question. Spec-wise, a manual RWD M235i would be the closest, except the 2-dr (I want 4 dr). Now what? |

Ford Focus RS if you can find it for MSRP
If not, I think the Chevy SS' are pretty amazing cars. The Q50 sport is also around $43k MSRP but you can find them around the high $3x,000's new. |

It's not a Camaro, it's a Holden Commodore.
Robust LS3 up front, manual 6 speed in the middle, magnetic ride control on all 4 corners & 4 doors. It's interior leaves a bit to be desired, but it's resale value like the G8 GXP will be excellent. The aftermarket is already amazing for an LS motor and the LS3 is a favorite. Not to mention it follows in the footsteps of the legendary E39 M5 |

Try to find a lease return that is loaded. The company has taken the devaluation hit and the vehicle will have average to below miles and you may be eligible for an extended maintenance contract. Buy something you know you'll enjoy, not something that would just look good. Be patient in your pursuit, as the right car/model will come along.

Doesn't pass the $45K limit new... never warmed up with the F30. I want something with a good engine sound right of the box. 4-cyl. hardly qualify, specially at this price level. Must be 4 doors and have reasonable fuel economy. I thought Passat V6 but they are rare, a bit overpriced and their value falls like a rock.
