Yes, really looking forward to it too.
When I first heard about the new film I was a bit 'meh'. After all, we all know how terrible the last three have been

But then I saw the trailers ... oh my !!!

Yes, looking forward to it. Since the forum took a bit of a nose dive and I've not been posting so much I've realised that I've got more time, so think I may try to watch the other 6 in the next few weeks, to get myself right in the mood!
The more recent three are definitely not so good but they each have some good parts, and as haven't seen them for ages it shouldn't be too bad. I hope.

i Remember seeing episode 1 in florida on opening night before it came out over here. They had people dressed as all the cast members walking around before the film started. nice little touch i thought.

Lucky boy. I've just watched Star Wars episode IV again, it's still amazing after all these years. I'll be going to see The Force Awakens during the holidays.

I'm a lucky boy, birthday in December so for the last few years has been an excuse to drag the family first to LOTR and then the Hobbit (why 3 films ?) and now I can give them the gift of Star Wars for the next three years!

It's not just a movie, it's one of the biggest cultural phenomenons of the century!

Lol I know, hence us going to an IMAX for it.

A lesser viewing just will not suffice

To be accurate, it is one of the biggest cultural phenomenons of the last TWO centuries and has made Science Fiction mainstream.

Some of the biggest earning movies are either Science Fiction or Fantasy.
