Baby sat the grandson, 18 months old, we'd been in the conservatory watching the birds on the feeder, chaffinch, goldfinch, robins, blue tits, great tits etc. obviously the only word he latches onto is tits.
His mum and dad come round to collect him and I decide to fess up "look he's been copying again and he seems to be saying tits...." . I paused waiting for the explosion when his mum says "that's nothing, nursary called to say he's been calling his play buddies douches" ,at which daddy looked very embarrassed. Kids of today, 'douche', in my day it would have been twat.
