I suspect it varies in each market, so best to obtain the US market specific specification sheet, and check.
In Australia, Driver Assistance Plus adds Navigation Plus (the larger screen nav system), the head-up display, and Active Cruise Control. All Australian models get Driving Assistant, comprising camera-based system consisting of Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning and Pedestrian Warning with light city braking function, but I'm not sure that's the case in other markets.

As ttimbo said, it's market specific. The only difference between Driving Assistant and Driving Assistant Plus in the UK is the addition of ACC (costs an extra £655). It won't require any additional individual options or packages.

In the US, because of parts shortages, it could not be more complicated at present. There are 3 packages available:
ZDN - Drivers Assistance Package 2. - Park Distance Control - Parking Assistant. ZDN cannot be ordered with ZDA, which is ZDA - Drivers Assistance Package - Park Distance Control - Parking Assistant. - Rear view camera The rear view camera has a parts shortage so to avoid delays receiving cars, they created the ZDN package. Then if you want you can add ZDB ZDB - Drivers Assistance Plus - Speed Limit Info - Auto High Beams - Active Driving Assistant ZDB requires that you order "Navigation Business" or the Technology Package, which includes Navigation. If you want 5AT, which is Active Cruise Control + Stop and Go, then you must order ZDB (Drivers Assistance Plus) as well. What a mess. |
