Thanks. I saw those and talked to him. My big concern is needing the tool and installing new O rings. He says he put the cap on them as soon as he took them out so supposedly they are good to install.

I would definitely replace the seals. This vid shows how to replace the seal:

The tool is P/N 83 30 0 495 756.

Has anybody been fine not changing them? I bought two used ones off that n54tech article. He put the caps on immediately after removing them.

If he put the cap on I have seen guys before replace them, I never did since the tool was so easy and accesible but if you don't have access you can.

If it makes you feel better the n55 pencil style injectors do not come with caps on them but its the same style oring

Well I'm going to give it a shot. I have 1 bad injector and bought 2 with 68000 miles. I'll put 6 new ones in next year.
