swapping OE wheels

Are the 437s on the M2 the same fitment/offsets as the F8x?

Would F8x 513s work on the M2?

Maybe a good way for a a F8x buyer to get upgraded wheels at little cost. I am hoping to swap out the M2s wheels to either 513s or the silver 437s.

Anyone else thought about this?

I have thot of same thing. At this point not sure if offset will work re: 437's.
Having only summer performance tires which is seemingly the only thing the "enthusiasts" seem to know, means cold weather issues anywhere, require a whole other set of wheels and tires...OR swap on main OEM wheels for an all season set...and then there is no run flat.

Yes, I know, I know alllllll about run flats...been there and have switched them out before, but with the M235 presently on all season run flats, which have been just fine, it has meant no switching back and forth.

Or get that all season, non run flats and a mobility kit or spare just in case. I kind of like being able to take a trip now and have the run flats. BUT it appears its not to be....so probably bite bullets [I hate biting these things at my age] and get an all season set on either OEM's...or buy a whole other set to store every 6 months or so.

Am also curious as to those 437's of the 4. No rant just an issue I have to face...or not do this. LOL.

I just want different rims. I hate the black 437. I'll take the silver 437s if they are the same fitment b/w m3/4 and the m2

either way, I live in ohio. I want snows this year or might be a 5k hooptie and keep the m2 in the garage

had a/s and RFT on my 135, not going that route this time

I'm just hoping the offsets/fitments are identical b/w both chassis

513M would look amazing! I'm sure they would fit if the 19's fit. Someone needs to photoshop these on.

I also do not like the black 437s, but it seems to be the only wheels we can have on the M2. So, hoping to have the silver 437s is therefore not an option, unfortunately.

I prefer silver also. How hard would it be to convert/paint the black 437s to silver?

I think getting wheels painted or powder coated would not be a big deal. I'm thinking about getting my 437s redone in a dark bronze or flat black for my AW M2.

Repainting/powder coating would be the cheapest route. I really like the OEM silver with machined contrast. I'd probably go with an aftermarket silver wheel or get the real deal and sell off the black 437's to recoup some of the cost.

Cleaner result with painting than width powder coating.

Why would you say that?

Painting : better color intensity, glow and finishing touch. More colour options.
Powder Coating : probably /usually more solid. But I heard of cracks around the valves. Some observed orange peel.
Of course experience is necessary for both.
As said, personally I would choose for painting. Looks so much better if wel done.

My dealer will swap out the black for silver when I order. Have you asked?

I'm curious if the 433 style wheels of the M6 Gran Coupe will fit the M2.

The fronts should fit but 10.5" ET19 rears won't.

Oh well, they're 20 inches though and heavier so not it's not so bad news.

I also was interested in having my wheels painted black instead of the standard silver with black background, but so far the only quote I have from a wheel shop is $250-$300 per wheel. The kicker is that the shop says the process takes 8 business days. The price was bad enough, but leaving the car for 8 days is unacceptable. What prices/times are others getting?

Mine will take about a week to get refinished, however the car is staying at my BMW dealer. The rims are going to the refinisher.
