PCV Proactive
Hey guys,
I've got 82k miles now. Thinking about a few proactive maintenance items. Does it make sense to change PCV and pipe leading to it despite seeing no issues at this point? Thought about buying the RB upgrade... Easy install?

The rb upgrade is excellent for n54. The stock leaks at boost, which has ill effects. If you search you will find my data on stock and Rb. Relatively easy install, i didnt take off the fuel line, didnt want to mess w that.
I wonder about the other pcv hose (one that goes to the intake) myself, may change it.

You should do the rb pcv proactively. The pcv pipe can be done when you replace your valve cover and gasket, unless you suspect there's something wrong w it.

I changed the PCV and hose when I added a BMS catch can last year. Had a walnut blast done right before so I figured I might as well update all that. Car only had 40K on it at the time. It's cheap and a really easy install.
