Tuning back to stock map

Is there a way to tune back to stock map on a 07 n54 335i using WINKPF on a laptop? The 335i already has a custom map on it used on another laptop using Dimsport and the ecu is locked to that laptop and software as the WINKPF is unable to read or upload the stock map. Is there a way to erase the old file and replace with the stock map using WINKPF without bricking the ecu?

MHD can flash it back to stock and would be a lot easier then Winkfp .

I am considering MHD but just scared that flashing it back to stock may brick the ecu because the ecu is not standard and already has a file on there written from another software (dimsport). If it wont brick the ecu and will successfully flash it back to stock map, then I will definitely do it that way.

I am not sure MHD will do it if the current ECU is read locked. Check with Ken WedgePerformance

MHD will flash it back to stock. There are fail safes in place to prevent ECU bricking. Worst case scenario would be the ECU write would fail and the ECU would go into recovery mode. The you would just need to do a full write again to restore it.
