JB4 keeps switching to map 4

Hey guys, so I have been running jb4 map 7 with an bms e85 backend flash tune and has been running strong. I just got the mmp inlets installed and now it keeps switching to map 4 as soon as the max psi hits. Could it be that the increased airflow from the inlets are causing this problem? my fail safe psi is set at 21 psi which is the most i could get the jb4 to set it. As soon as it hits that it switches to map 4 which is understandable. But I have tried using map 2 as well, and its hitting 17-18psi and then it switches to map 4 again. Do i just need to get a custom flash tune as the mmp inlets are creating way too much airflow for the jb4 to handle? Any ideas? below is the list of mods i have.

mmp inlets
vrsf 7" fmic
ets chargepipe/synapse bov
n54tuning catless DP
AE exhaust
fuel it stage 2 LPFP
Mfactory LSD
JB4
BMS e85 back end flash tune

I put in about 10 gallons of e85 and top off with 93.

Get a datalog, it's really the only way for us to know.

Could be fuel related, boost, load, who knows.

You likely need some adjustments in your tune when going to aftermarket inlets.

You should get an SES flash with it too.
One flash - over boost.
Two flashes - Lean over 14:1 for >1 sec over 4500rpm
Three flashes - HPFP dropping below 7

Log it of course but the SES and amount of times it flashes should give you a quick indication of what the culprit is.

Even if no CEL/SES is present, read the codes.

ces/ses does not come on. it just goes straight to map 4 without any indication. I only notice it when i wot and shift to the next gear, it only goes to 8psi so i check the map settings and it will be on map 4.

Map 4 is stock power so 8 psi is normal.
Read the codes, and post a datalog once you have a chance. Trying to figure it out without any data is more of a guessing game than anything else

im going to guess either overboost or hpfp dips too low and causes a lean event.

post the logs to know for sure.
