BMW M2 as a shooting brake, hatchback, sedan and convertible

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Saw this earlier, and I gotta say, I think the design cues on the M2 lend themselves rather nicely to a shooting brake/hatch look.

Will probably never be made, but hell I think it looks dead sexy.

Lol, well no technically a shooting break is a hatch back not a coupe but you bring up a good point, why wouldn't BMW make an M version of the M135?

Question is what would they call it? M1 and 1M are already taken! But I agree, they should. It would far outsell the M2 in Europe, though I doubt BMW NA would ever allow it over here.

Nice one!

Your dream ain't far. The 3 door F20 - M135/1M will look 80% like this.

Just do a simple front bumper and lights replacement.

I sometimes forget how close the F22 is to the F20

Its funny, the M2 bumper designs work so well with a shooting brake design vs just a regular coupe. I would without hesitation rock this. Maybe we should just spam this to BMW in emails and send donations haha.

I think they could still call it the 1M - aka E82 1M is one car and the F8X 1M is a different one - same with the other M cars.

Agreed. I would absolutely buy this. I think it looks better than the coupe

The second coming of the clownshoe is better than the second coming of the E46 M3 IMHO

The shooting brake render needs a little work here. Looks a little tight.

The first one is hot as hell!

Any chance you can render a wagon :P

Honestly if they made a M Wagon, I'd be all over that.
