Alekshop Signal Green Monster

Building unique BMW’s is not a new hobby for forum member Powerbeast. We had the privilege to work on his E9X M3 custom wide body project. Over the years he has attempted and successfully raised the bar over several different BMW platforms so it was no surprise when he approached us with the idea to build his new Signal Green F series M3 with the goal of doing something special.

This M3 arrived already equipped with some nice parts. 3D Design aero, Akrapovic exhaust, HRE wheels and KW suspension to name a few. We wanted to take what was started and finish it properly. This required us to add more power, Get the interior to match the exterior and finish the car correctly.

The first project was to build a custom Alcantara rear seat delete to finish off the Fall Line cage and to add custom Alcantara to the interior headliner. The rear seat delete was a fully custom build from scratch that took some time to design. We have built many others over the years but this one was not only the most challenging for us but rewarding when finished. Matched up with Sabelt seats and custom mounting hardware by Motorsport7, a Safecraft fire extinguisher and the interior now matched the custom aggressive exterior.

Final touches were to add power and this was done with the ESS flash tune. Unlike a piggyback system this flash tune provided the customer with all of the options he wanted including top speed limit removal, raised RPM, cold start delete to help with his catless downpipes and custom mapping for local 91 octane fuel. The flash tune also provides very smooth power deliver. BMW LCI tail lights were also added to finish up the project.

In the end this project like several in the past for Powerbeast we feel will be remembered.

• Akrapovic Evolution exhaust / downpipes
• HRE R101 wheels
• 3D Design front lip spoiler
• Varis rear diffuser
• 3D Design side skirt set
• 3D Design trunk spoiler
• Fall line cage
• KW clubsport suspension
• Sabelt Carbon fiber seats / Motorsport7 mounting hardware
• OEM LCI taillight conversion
• Alekshop Alcantara rear seat delete / custom headliner

KERM3T? Is that you?

This car is definitely the tits. So good on almost every level. I saw his Dakar Yellow E90 M3 a few years ago (also slammed) and it was struggling to drive on the bumpy roads in down town.... looked kind of silly imo.

Those are the only shots we took. Powerbeast might have some additional.
