Christmas came a little early...VTT Stage 2+ build in the desert
It's been a long (read: long, LONG) time coming, but the VTT goods finally showed up today! My car goes in the shop this week, so I'll be sure to post install pics, dyno results, etc as I get them. Although things are starting to cool down here in Vegas, I'm curious to see how this car performs in the extreme desert temps.
VTT Stage 2+ 20T VTT Inlets The parts came very well packaged, complete with shipping manifest, balancing tests, and detailed install, warranty and core return instructions. MONEY $HOT! About My Car I bought my car brand new in 2008 up in WA state, and the first thing I did was drive up to Canada to get the M-Tech kit (almost impossible to find in the US at the time). Now almost 7.5 years and tons of mods later, the stock turbos have fallen victim to the excessive smoking issue, so it's time to upgrade her for some real power. Both my water pump and HPFP have decided to crap out on me almost simultaneously, so those are being replaced as well. Current Setup:

Nice, good to see more people upgrading their turbos in Vegas. We should get up and do a shoot sometime next year. My stockers finally gave up on me too, but just got an email that my kit new kit is almost ready for shipping so I should be getting it next month. Who's doing your install?

Could you let me know who's doing your install out here in Vegas? I moved here almost 2 years ago and am still looking for a trustworthy place. Have been putting my stage 2+ install on hold for the longest now.

Thanks, everyone. Install pics and dyno results will be coming soon. As long as everything installs ok, tuning should begin the week of Nov 16.

You know I have to say that I am really surprised with how professional Tony is behaving during the past few days. I swore off VTT after several incidents with unprofessional behavior and being blocked from the infamous "Wedge tunes" thread on bimmer.boost after asking a question about why logs weren't posted. I'm not bringing all that up again, just saying that I like this new conduct much more than what I'm used to seeing. All the products seem great, I've just heard stories about bad customer service and warranty issues.
