VRSF dpfix pins (problem with install)

Hey guys so im trying to install the VRSF dp fix. But the pins just dont seat into the slots in the DME connector. I looked online to see what other people have done but havent really found anything. Does anyone have any tips on how to slide the dp fix pins in? Mine keep stopping about half way and wont seat fully. Thanks

You can pinch the base of the pins with a pair of pliers very carefully.

Do this to get a better grip and just jam them in?

No, do this to round the base of the pin a little more. The crimp on the connector may not have been fully compressed.

I used needle nose pliers to push them in.
