Sick of brake dust black wheels? - solution found

Like no doubt most Euro owners - I was sick of cleaning wheels. The standard 18" luxury line multi -pokes are a bitch to clean too. (They will be replaced some time soon)

However in the mean time, desperate, I tried what I thought would be another "snake oil" remedy. What I can report is that:

AUTOGLYM alloy wheel seal actually works.

My wheels now stay perfectly clean after at least 9 days driving.

So if you're sick of having black crappy wheels- use this stuff.

A lot of us use the Armorall wheel protectant already I think. Nice to know there's an alternative to try out.

And when I replace the brake pads - ill be using non-OEM ones to reduce dust. The Autoglym was on special at Supercheap - $21.

I think its actually called 'Auto Glym Wheel Protector' here?

The bottle says it's not recommended for dark wheels because it leaves a white residue on the wheels. The stuff definitely works though, you can see patches where dust sticks to as opposed to the treated areas.

I'd also like to try something like this, though not cheap.
