Track Day at Harris Hill Road this December (TX)

Hi all,

I'm planning an event for December 13th at Harris Hill Road with Longhorn Racing Academy. This is a two-session track day, some classroom time, and you will be paired with an instructor. Anybody interested?

Who's invited:

If you:

• Have a good working car. Modification is not necessary. Bone stock is fine :-)
• Are a mature & respectful driver
• Can follow instructions.

Then you are invited! :-)

Location:

Harris Hill Road is located in San Marcos. The track is 1.82 miles long, 11 turns, with elevation changes. You can learn more about the track here:

$249

Insurance:

Insurance will be purchasable separately from Lockton Motorsports, but this is optional:

Things to prepare:

Mandatory:

• You car. You will need a full tank of gas.
• Driver's license.

Other things you might want to bring (but optional):

• A racing helmet. Loaner helmets are available at the track if you don't have any. If you prefer to buy one in advance, you can try websites like soloracer.com, Black Armor, Simpson, etc. You can find a local dealer/distributor for the last two.
• GoPro cameras.

How to sign up:

Please either DM me, or leave a comment here. I need the following from you:

• Your full name.
• Your e-mail address.
• What car you will bring.
• (10/17/15 Update) Please give me your phone number too. Requested by LRA.

Your name/e-mail/phone/car info will be forwarded to LRA.

I'm in! M3 coming end of month after a LONG hiatus of not driving an M (tracked my E90 there ) and coming from 2 Ducatis. Love that track although I was running with the super bike track days a couple years ago.
Can't wait to shake off the rust in my hands and put some solid seat time!

The group is much bigger than last time. Wonder if they'll do two run groups? Provided all works out on my end, I look forward to a day of fun in the cooler weather. I'll bring the GoPro this time too, to get another view of the fantastic drivers we all are
