1. TFT
2. Had them installed with my stage 2 turbos so hard to say
3. Holding up like expected
4. I'm enjoying the new engine bay look. They sound great and really help the turbos pull to redline

Inlets are ok, but the Charge Pipe is very impressive...

TFT is not just inlets like the other options out there. The TFT kit is complete, and justifies the cost. Fitment is everything and TFT fits.

One note, if you buy the TFT, which I recommend, do the 335D upper reservoir tank hose. Very clean and PnP. Also, use a dremel to cut the clamp and split the old hose. If you don't, you'll be drilling and tapping a 1/4 x 1/4 barb fitting like me... One of my next upgrades will be an aluminum radiator.

Is it OK to change this upper radiator hose without bleeding the coolant?

You shouldn't have enough coolant loss to require much more than topping off the tank.

I posted this in the AT radiator thread, but what are thoughts around upgrading the fan for better flow during idling and stop/start traffic conditions?

For the guys with inlets, few questions
1 which brand did you go with

MM inlets... but ended up some parts.. and fabricating like 80%... so in the end
sorta similar to the TFT but much cleaner..... 3" pipe out of the FMIC to the throttle body..
2 how much was intall (interested in a set)...
prob 1200-1400 with kit and the fabrication..

4 how are they holding up?
awesome mostly aluminum... only a few silicon joints..
5 your impression on them
LOVE them... only issue is there basically like cold air intakes, so my cones are right near the fog light... stealth install..

3 can u show off that engine bay? Lol

will try later... i prob shoot a little 4k HD video upload them on youtube...when its stops raining..

personally i think they looke FUGLY relocating all this stuff in the bay thats why i went custom...

my turbo love the inlets according to my logs...

I wanted to keep my intakes in the stock location so I went with a VTT set and have zero complaints. Everything still lines up very well and gives my engine bay the stockish look.

I had my turbos replaced at the same time so I don't really know how much install will cost by itself. The inlets fit extremely well (even with the rear being a pain to install) according to Eurowise's shop manager.

Most inlets will be about 5-6 hrs. TFT will be a little longer since it replaces that much more.

Figure $100-125/HR for labor.

1) TFT
2) self install- I received the first set Brian/TFT offered to the public- spent a good bit of time on phone with Brian prior to install- lot of relocation
3) holding up fine- look good as new
4) Unlocks a large amount of top end power, sound is great. TFT IMO offers by far the cleanest relocation. TFT is about performance AND the details.

I went with mmp. I was one of the first to get it from slicksilver during his groupbuy when he offered the relocation kit of the 335d coolant tank.

Fitment was a pain in the ass and had to make a few modifications in order to make it fit, but they do their job very well.

My impression of them is that the materials are cheap and it isn't such a stunning thing to look at when I pop the hood, but again, they work extremely well and have made the car much more enjoyable to drive. I went from stock airbox to inlets lol.

nitehawk I'm running these inlets on stock turbos. What would you like to know? I still need a custom tune to take advantage of it as I am overboosting on the ots e40 mhd map (its still conservative though).

grand hustle:

it was actually AA charge pipe with BOV really quality build... then i just cut it and incorporated it into the build...

another note that i did have some overboost issues with the inlets... so its nice to have a JB4 so you can tweak a few settings and solve it..

as far stock turbo... i think inlets regardless you'll turbo will be running more efficiently... then its up to you to push over 19 psi ...

I guess I'd like to confirm that there are decent gains to be had even on stockers by running more boost? The fact that people overboost after switching to inlets proves to show it allows for more headroom. How much did your WGDC drop from inlets?

I plan to get inlets and get a cobb fbo 94octane protune. It would be nice to have more power in the upper rpm band

That is pretty slick! looks like you don't have a factory oil cooler though, guessing that wouldn't be possible i an oil cooler is on the car. have any build pictures from that?

probably have to relocate the oil cooler to the other side...or maybe move the oil cooler in front of the radiator.
