Hi guys, just joined this awesome forum! I hope you guys could help me with something -

I just ordered a 2016 428 xDrive convertible through a local dealer 2 days ago. I ordered midnight blue (B38) which is also what shows on the inquiry sheet. However, in my account on the BMWUSA website, it shows imperial blue based on the production number given by the dealer.

The dealer said sometimes the BMW website would show a wrong color for the first week. I just have to wait a few days before the color gets corrected by the system.

Has this happened to any of you guys? Feeling a little nervous here...

That is the case. A lot of times your build is one that they already had potentialy loaded as a general inventory build. When they edit it prior to production for you, the original color will still show on the tracking site on the customer end.

yes, i had an m235 in the wrong color, but in 1-2 weeks it changed to the right color on the website. the sites and the info are not always accurate. sometimes lacking the build info
