Unfortunately my CA just told me that the money factor on 2016s is 0.0015 compared to 0.00134 on the 2015s. That's going to raise my monthly lease about $20 a month! :-(

That's including your dealer's (optional, negotiable) markup. The BMWNA MF for 2016 models is 130.

I just ordered a 340 yesterday, 9/30. Expected delivery in Nov. Can I take advantage of the $750 option credit?

I think you could lock in the $750 until November 2nd as stated on the BMW USA site

Quoted from the BMW USA site "All Credits valid through November 02, 2015"

It won't get here by Nov 2nd so I'm thinking it won't work. Sent an email to the dealer to ask. There should be holiday rebates by that time though.

I'm taking delivery of a 2016 340i xDrive in mid October. My dealer is telling me the residual is 62% and the money factor is 0.0015, I think that the dealer is marking it up from 0.0013. Earlier in the thread NightWriter indicated that the money factor on all 2016s is 0.0013. Can anyone else confirm this?

Yes, base MF for 2016 340 xdrive is .00130. They may try to mark it up. Mine did initially. Residual on mine is 61% but that is for 12k miles. If you chose 10K then residual is 62%

Finalized the deal, Base MF 0.0013 and using 7 multiple security deposits my effective MF is 0.00081. I was able to use both the $750 October Option Credit and the $1000 Drive for Team USA incentive. It was the dealer's first 340i allotment and I agreed to a purchase price $300 over original invoice price so the dealer got to pocket the incentives. I'm sure there are much better deals out there, but I'm happy and taking delivery on Wednesday 10/14.

Can you elaborate on the bold part?

Also, did you find the invoice of your car on an online site, like NADA? If so, how close was it to what they said was their invoice? Lastly, did your dealer just come out and tell you what their invoice was?

Thanks! Love your build. It's going to be an amazing car!

To estimate dealer invoice I used Edmunds and the spreadsheet that is available on one of the other major BMW forums. The invoice costs from these 2 sources were within $80. My CA claimed he's paid off an invoice cost that was several hundred dollars higher, but that includes what the dealership adds to each car they sell to cover training and advertising costs for the dealership. This is a common practice at dealerships, the training and advertising costs added to the invoice cost is called MACO. Since I had $1750 in incentives and I paid $300 over Edmunds invoice, the dealership made approximately $2050 on the sale of my car.

I hope that helps!
