Carbon bonnet!

Has anyone fitted a carbon bonnet yet? If so was it easy to do and how much did it cost you?

I'd check that a CF bonnet is legal first. When I had a VW a few years back - I read there were issues re. legality.

There was some question re. ADR compliance and crash testing. Its a grey area and probably varies state to state.

RACQ or equivalent usually can give you decent answers without having to jump through Dept. of Transport hoops...

Don't know about legality but I had my 135i years ago in exposed carbon fibre for the entire front end up to the front door and no one ever stopped me.
