Error message coding F16

I'm trying to help someone get some coding done. I get this error message on about 4 CAFD's :
cafd_000000b6-012_003_012 Fehler:
CPS read from ECU "ECUId:SM2_0x6E" failed! [C070]
openECUConnection for link SM2_6E_ETHERNET failed with error MCDError Severity: 2051, Error Code: 49184, Description: Object with name not found, Vendor Code: 3, Vendor Description: provided name SM2_6E_ETHERNET doesn't map to an item [1694]
Any ideas? I'm using Esys Pro 3.24.3

Did you use target selection F025 (without the _DIRECT)?

Radio buttons:
Are you selecting "Connection via VIN"?

Is "Read parameters from VCM" checked?
