Performance BMW Alcantara steering wheel cleanup?

Hi guys,

What's the best way to restore the Alcantara/suede and get dirt/geese off of the stripe?

I am super paranoid and I don't want to ruin my wheel.

I did search but could not compile a solid method or product.

Any help?

just something mild, if not too dirty, just a wet cloth and then dry it, if it has a bit of dirt worked into it, use a little mild detergent in the water - I like woolite and then use a cloth/microfiber to gently work it into the alcantera then use just water on a cloth to clean the soap out and then dry with a microfiber and it should then dry overnight.

Thank you for your response. Have you tried the tooth brush method? While Google'ing - I found that one some Corvette forum of similar application.
