OEM Sport shocks on rears

im at 123k. Got a horribly blown strut on the rear passenger the other day and found these OEM sport shocks w/ 40k on them for crack head price from a fellow member. They feel great, they do feel pretty firm compared to the front stock struts. Ill be doing Koni yellows and eibachs in the future but, this was a good low budget/convenient purchase for $80 with brand new bump stops.

Anyone else with XI stock suspension throw these on their rears? Havent seen any others post bout it

Valving range will be different since xi suspension sits higher.

You are better off doing Bilstein B4s. You can get a set of 4 for under $300.

I've already put the sport shocks on to the rears. They feel good. Not that stiff compared to the stock fronts. Plus I only paid $60 for the shocks. Can't beat that. Is the valving range that much of an issue drive wise? Seems pretty good to me

It's not ideal, the shocks won't last as long. It'll be fine for now.

They will wear out faster and won't control suspension travel to the best of their abilities.

As mentioned, if it's temporary, it'll be fine.
