CQuartz

Good afternoon Lads,

I'm thinking of getting CQuartz put on the new car when it turns up.

Does anyone know where this can be done in Newcastle or Sydney.

I know of Raj at TRD, just looking for alternatives.

Thanks,

H

Cool. I'm on the Central Coast so I'm also interested to see who else can do it in the Sydney to Newcastle area.

Firstly which CQuartz are you talking about? UK, finest, Other?

It's cheap to buy this stuff and I used UK on my wheels which look awesome and was so easy to apply and get a perfect result. Key is to use Eraser twice (Eraser is a oil and grease remover).

Google carpro who make this stuff for a few videos and how to guides.

Finest is professional installation only, UK is great for wheels and standard CQuartz is now quite old. Have a look at waxit.com.au

Cheers

Thanks for your input mate.

I don't have the time or more importantly the inclination to do this myself, even if I could.

BTW looking at Finest.

Then that's a good price for finest "if" you are getting a min 2 coats, aim for 3 as it makes a big difference to shine, evenness and longevity. Also, they should be doing your wheels with two coats min of UK when they do the body.

I was also offered a maintenance kit, reload etc so double check how many coats and time they plan to take in between coats. Good luck bud

This is what they are doing:

Exterior
-Wheels and archers cleansed
-door jambs cleansed
-paint hand washed
-2 stage paint decontamination (physical and chemical)
-preperation polish performed to ensure perfectly clean surface, remove light paint defects and to ensure maximum gloss is achieved
-2 x alcohol wipe downs
-2 x applications of Cquartz Finest
-windows cleaned
-tires dressed
