Braking pads...??
Hello everybody,
I am new to these forums...and would like to know which aftermarket brake pads would be better for a 03 z4 3.0i...actually wanna change my brake pads to get rid of the brake dust...!!! is there any other way to get rid of the brake dust...????? Thanks, KK.

I think a lot of people like AXXIS pads for reducing dust. But I don't have em, so I can only tell you from what I remember reading.

Akebono ULT
I switched out my dusty OE Textar pads for the Akebono ULT. They don't dust as bad but they squeal loudly when cold and under light braking pressure.

Tirerack sold me akebono euro ceramic. They have been quiet and dustless the 1st 1000 or so miles. Stopping performance seems fine in normal driving.
They were installed on well-worn rotors, but I have no idea what, if any, effect that would have. |
