Mudding in the M235

I have 5000 miles on my BSM M235i now and have taken very good care of it since new. It's made to be driven though and I've tracked it twice and done some (very) spirited drives through the Colorado mountains between Denver and Steamboat. Unfortunately I was forced to take a route on my last trip to Steamboat which has a 4 mile long construction zone that is currently covered completely in mud and rocks. This is what they expect everyone to drive on - it is horrible!.

Here are some before and after pics of my 2er after a track day and then driving through the gauntlet construction zone.

I used my porter cable orbital with Chemical Guys swirl remover followed by Jet Seal - then Black Light - and finally Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax

That's clean bro! BSM is a high maintenance paint to keep up. I used to have a Jet Black 540i (RIP) and everyday I was detailing it. Props to you for having a lot of patience.

Thanks bud - looking forward to getting that diffuser to complete the look. My 135i was jet black and man it was a PITA. I was between silver like yours or BSM. I really like the mineral grey they offer on the new M3 - would have gone with that if it was an option.

The main reason I opt for Glacier Silver is you can't tell how dirty it is until you look close up to it. She is very low maintenance and having a clear bra helps the front a lot. A quick spray of detailing spray and bugs are wiped away. Planning to do the whole hood maybe before winter.
