Vogtland Springs; Anyone try them yet?

Looking for a mild drop and H&R's rake and front wheel tuck is a bit too much for me, especially since I am going very flush with my new wheels. Anyone try these yet? I've read they drop .75 inches all around but on european sites it says 15mm which is more like .6 inches. Made in Germany to boot. Thanks!

My friend has had success with their coil-over systems and loved the feel of the ride.

Apparently they are popular in Europe and make alot of OE springs for car manufacturers.

Here's a pic of a car with them...seems like a good in-between compared to dinan and H&R in terms of drop.

Never heard of them but I agree looks good! It does look like its somewhere between the H&R and Dinan.

Go for it and let us know. There can't be that much difference between two springs sets for the same car.

I was in the same situation choosing between Vogtland, HR and ST from KW, but since there are no pics and discussions about any other sprigs but HR I decided to go with HR. By the way I live in Germany and most of our guys from forum have HR...

Another question, why didn't you just get the 15mm Version from HR for m235i, if you don't want to drop it lower? Is it only low version 25mm in U.S. available?

Because every HR I've ever had, outside of a proper cup kit, feels nice for 8-10K then starts getting severely bouncy (probably from shock deterioration based on lack of appropriate movement). Just from my experience. And to add to that I am a road & course racer and that just won't do. Also, according to their application guide on their site they only sell the regular sport springs at the max drop.

Ok, got it. Wondering if its possible to change the shocks by BMW guarantee if there will be any problems after using HR springs. Have actually no problem for time being but if somethings happens, there is only option to get coilovers directly...

Could also go with springs and some Koni sport yellows or some bilsteins. (There is another thread on that near the top of the page) I also have the H&Rs and am just waiting for those to give up.

Hopefully these work out for you as they may be a good alternative to the others. Keep us posted!

They are very popular in the Audi / VW world. Was getting ready to install on my 2013 EOS until I purchased my BMW. Very nice quality.

Vogtland is a good company.
They have a office located in Temecula (Riverside County)
I know them pretty well. Their manager owns a 135i full Dinan car on Vogtland coil overs. Car rides on rails ! Good stuff for a decent price
