Question Is anybody getting 2016s under invoice?

Just curious because that seems to be the numbers being talked about from the salesman I'm working with. I don't know if I should push for more or if I'm already getting a fantastic deal.

This is on a 2016 F31 M-sport ordered from the factory the way I want it. Thinking about doing the Performance Center pickup too if anybody has done that recently.

Anyone? I used the generator on BF, but I don't know how that accounts for what other people are paying or if it just does general arithmetic for you. TrueCar doesn't list the 2016s yet to draw a comparison.

You can find invoice on NADA for 2016. We agreed on 2016 340ix MSport nearly fully loaded at $400 over invoice.

I got the invoice price from Edmunds, but I was just curious if getting it at invoice we a great deal or it's more common and I have room to negotiate.

I paid $1000 over (perhaps high, but I placed an early order and many were paying $2k-$3k over at the time). I've heard of some around $500 over, but I doubt you'll do much better than that on a 340i, at least anytime soon. This time next year, sure, you'll probably find MY2016's the dealers are looking to get rid of (courtesy of BMWNA credits), so good deals will be had.

However, if paired with the BMW Drive for Team USA drive event (as I did), you should be able to knock $1000 off. So I'm effectively at invoice.

I have to check my final numbers on my lease calculator, but I believe i paid a few hundred over invoice for 340xi, and then on top of that, I had a UDE $1,000 coupon. about $4k off MSRP, then minus $1,000 coupon.

That's the offer. I'm confused as well hence the thread. I'm going to drop by to take a more expanded look at the numbers and see how he's getting them.

NADA National Automobile Dealers Association. Can get invoice price on their site. When I ordered they were the only site that had it.

The 340 is too new to get under invoice. My dealer would offer me under invoice on pretty much any car but the 340 since its "new"

Man here in the Bay Area the best deal I could negotiate was $1500 over invoice for my 340i order. I suppose demand is higher around the Silicon Valley.

I probably paid on the high side but I'd rather pay extra than have to put a ton of miles on it right off the bat to get a few hundred dollars off of it at a more distant dealer

Oh well!

Garage List
BMW   [0.00]
My dealer made approx. 1000-1250 over invoice. Then I get $1000.00 BWW drive money & $500 BMW Car club money. Approx. $4900 off sticker. They are enttiled to make money, just not too much.
Car being built end of Aug.

How long after you drove the UDE did you get the coupon emailed to you? The website says within 48 hours of registration but I haven't received anything yet in twice that time.

As far as getting the 2016 under invoice, perhaps your invoice numbers are off? I can't imagine a dealership ordering a brand new car to spec for less than invoice.

As long as you signed in at the event my understanding is BMWUSA can give you the OL number. The OL number is what you need to get the incentive.

I checked my invoice numbers against numbers from NADA website, with an exact build of my car. I also calculated invoice with the 93% of MSRP rule. with both methods, the 2 invoice prices came out within $10 of each other. My lease calculator is giving me an accurate numbers.

Thanks Bimmercar and Headwind! Got my OL# today.

Sorry Bimmercar, the last part of my comment about invoice numbers perhaps being off were directed at OP getting below invoice on a 2016 sans incentives.

I am able to get to 500 over the invoice for a 2016 428 GC with the Team USA $1k.
I don't think it's very very good deal, but that's the best I could get to.
