It's a big one for Amazon. I had expected them to go Netflix if they were going online channel. I dare say Amazon have deeper pockets though.

I don't hold out much hope for Evans I have to say.

The issue is Amazon Prime is pretty pants at present in comparison to Netflix. I have both (one through work and one a generous pal) and i watched Vikings on Amazon prime and that's about it. So it is huge for them, but i can't see anyone paying for it alone.

I was a little surprised they'd chosen to go tis route, wouldn't of ITV of been great but as I understand it there are too many contract related issues involved to enable this to happen, but having 100% freedom I'd imagine was something all 3 craved hence the move.

I've heard indifferent things re Amazon all we can hope is that between now and early next year they sharpen their pencil's a little

Clarkson's contract with the BBC would have prevented him to going to another TV channels for a few years, so online was the only way to go.

I'll sign up to Amazon once is on.

Garage List
I have Prime and Netflix. they are both good but you get much more than the video service on Amazon prime. I spend nearly 4 hours a day commuting and with the delivery, music, books and videos with a lot of kids stuff I find it to be very good value.
