I am planning on selling my H and R springs and I am curious if I can use these springs in a 3 or 4 series? I see different part numbers but am still unsure.

Also do the x drive models have special springs needed or can they use the same?

Thanks in advance.

Different part numbers, different spring rates do not suggest running them.

May I ask why you want to run the 3 series springs?

I don't. I'm getting out of my springs and so I was thinking who I might be able to sell to. Thanks for the info!

May I ask why are you getting out of Springs? I am planing to install them on my 220i with M Sport Suspension. Are you not happy with them or want to spend time on track?

Switching to coil overs is all. Ready for a bit beefier setup.

The springs look phenomenal and all but I didn't really feel a performance gain over stock.

I don't know his reasons to take them out, but from my experience with them, all I can say is that I really like them.

The car behaves like stock but on the highway is less bumpy and I feel more confident on turns.. Sometimes is a little bit too low on the front because of the front spoiler but I'm used to low cars so I don't mind..

Really does. I'm going to aim for the same height when I set up my coilovers

Ok, then I am sure I will be just fine with just springs for my needs. Thanks guys! Hope there will be no squeeze sounds or issues with OEM suspension.
