Tint over dot matix?

Anyone who had their car tinted, how does the tint look over the dots, especially on the ones on the side windows?
Got my car tinted a week ago but the area around the matrix are still not sticking.. Opening the door seems to make it worse as it is the part where it rubs against the rubber trim..

My Z4 Roadster the passenger/driver doors dont have the matrix only the rear windshield does so I cant really compare the door issue with you. The rear windshield was tinted just fine, I think some people know how to tint the dot matrix others dont.

I haven't had this car tinted yet, but on my 6 Series it wasn't an issue. But, I strongly believe it's both tint and installer specific. My installer also had me rubbing over the dot matrix a few times after the installation to make sure it stayed down as it dried.

If it's not sticking now it won't stick. I'd bring it back to the installer, although I can imagine they have some "we don't guarantee it over the dots" line...

I agree with above.... there are several installation techniques to deal with the dots.

Outside temp has alot to do with it too. As the tint was curing during the first few days, I applied pressure to the matrix area and now(2wks later) it looks great. I wouldn't do it if it is too cold where you are at, wait till summer.

what a bummer..
I guess I'll give it another week and take it back to the installer.
Maybe have him do it again when weather gets warmer.
Thanks everyone
