Polished wheels on a daily, Pros/Cons

I'm in the market for some new wheels and found a set I really like, but they're fully polished. Now, I drive my car a good amount, and consider it my daily driver, though I do drive my beater '98 Chevy pickup a good deal. I maybe put 50-75 miles on my car/week. With an occasional trip on the highway to one of my other work offices, which are roughly a 90 mile round trip.

For those of you who are running fully polished wheels on a "daily driver", what would your feedback be for me? Is it doable? Are they too high maintenance? Should I stick to just a polished lip?

Aside from these wheels, I'm having a tough time picking out wheels I want. It's funny...back when I didn't have the money, I found a shitload of wheels that I really liked. But now that I've got the cash in hand, I'm being really picky and having a tough time settling on a few different styles.

My budget is probably $2500-3000 (w/ tires) and would obviously love a multi-piece wheel. I do really like the BBS RS2's, pretty much any CCW wheel, and HRE's.

I guess this started off as a polished pros/cons thread and is now also morphing into a "give me some inspiration on my next wheels" thread.

Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

my recommendation is akebono brake pads to keep them clean, also i use paint sealant before putting the wheels on so dust/dirt wont stick
