335i got rear ended...need advice
Hey guys,
My 335i recently got rear ended so i will end up replacing the rear bumper. I am thinking to get a rear bumper with Park distance control (my car dsnt have pdc) and also get a rear camera while m at it. Do you think its a good idea? How should i go about it? Can get just the PDC bumper for now and get the sensors later? Thanks in advance! Yours Badpotato |

The PDC sensors are unnecessary if you retrofit the camera. I did the camera retrofit not hard at all. |

I was thinking about the same, but then i need to install rest of the stuff....sensors, control unit, coding and stuff.
It seems like the whole kit will cost upwards of $600 So may be just get the PDC bumper for now and get the PDC kit latter Bimmer tech is quoting $696 and BPMSports has it for $1000 |

I am thinking to get the PDC bumper instead of getting the one i hv currently.
Seems like the price difference is only ~$30 i have this: Bumper w/M package w/o PDC 51128041203 Will get this one: Bumper w/M Package w/PDC rear 51128044934 I belive this is the one ArcticRiK was referring to |

Are you gonna get the sensors put in and complete the full retrofit later? Or leave the bumper with holes in it?
The non-PDC bumpers have outlines of where the sensors go and you can drill the holes later on. Rolling around with holes in your bumper is super ghetto.

I think each sensor itself is pretty cheap so you could always mount them and not connect them to anything. The computer module is the expensive part.

If anyone can help me, I'm looking for the exact dimensions of a E90 335i bumper! I'm a bit of a noob on this website and have done extensive searching through forums but haven't found an answer.
