Exclamation e92 320d Turbo

Hi,

I have an e92 320d 177bhp...

Yesterday when pulling away from traffic lights I heard a bang, looked in the wing mirror to see sparks, white smoke and chunks of what appears to be my DPF. Pulled over and turned it off right away, then got it towed to the house (Didn't want to risk turning it back on).

Booked it in to get the DPF removed and remapped but the guy has told me that the turbo has probably had it also.

Anybody know where the best place for me to get a new turbo? (Possibly a hybrid )

Mileage around 79000.

Thanks in advance.

i would just send your existing turbo off to get rebuilt.

http://www.turborebuild.co.uk/contactus.html sorted my D3 turbo for me, and it was 240£ all in.

they quoted me 275 absolute maximum for my original TF035 before I managed to bag a second hand D3 unit
