I actually really enjoyed that episode! More than most.
Aren't they signed to netflix now though. BBC will have lost a future fortune in revenue...

No Official announcement yet, thought to be between Netflix and ITV, with ITV saying it would consider running it up against the BBC's new Top Gear with the Ginger Evans!!

It had ran it's course and desperately needed a refresh. I'm the biggest Clarkson fan but even I was happy to see it put out of its mysery.
I like Evans and he is a real car nut. I hope he does his own thing with it and makes something worthwhile rather than trying to follow in Clarkson's shoes. Likewise, wherever the other 3 end up, I hope they do something fresh as the original format had been battered to death. Onwards and upwards. WM |

To be honest i was quite disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm or emotion by the remaining May & Hammond. That said the BBC or the presenters have literally no incentive to make it a good show. In fact i think they purposefully made it quite shite.

I think it was all quite strange. Empty studio. Knowing what had happened in the past. I guess they were obliged to finish off the show.
TBH I think Top Gear changed so much over the past few years from what it was that it just became a staged comedy. They could keep on doing that for a while longer. Clarkson's analogies are a big part of the show. The cars are more a prop now.

I didn't like TG with all the staged stunts, but have to admit the last episode was good. I enjoyed the classic car stuff and the enthusiast car show.
