I understand they are doing what they have to do, just as we all do needs to be done in life to accomplish our individual goals.

To answer your question as to why this makes me upset, is because I have fought against these people, and I just wish that they would understand that their methods will not lead them to their goals.

It will only lead to countless more unnecessary deaths. This is what upsets me about all of this. I can tell you from personal experience that no matter how much blood is spilled, nothing will come of endless fighting.

But their goal isn't to convert us to their religion like the Crusaders. Their goal is to gain popularity/notoriety, recruit more militants and continue to shed blood. They're doing a great job in relation to their mission, whether we like it or not. It makes me upset too, obviously.

I know what you mean. You are right, they are quite successful at getting the spotlight from the public eye of the world.

If they are not trying to convert nonbelievers, and only seek to shed blood for no reason other than to get attention, then their cause can simply be met by falling on their own sword. Not by attacking people who don't believe in their cause.

If they are so righteous, and believe that death is the ONLY way to accomplish their goals, then they only need to turn the blade on themselves. Not others.

Agreed. What we're seeing is the latest struggle in a battle lasting several millenium and countless more will die unnecessarily.

Being emotionally compromised only reduces your operational effectiveness.

I agree with you 100%. This fight will continue and change form for as long as men and cultures focus on the few differences between us, instead of focusing on the many similarities we share.

I am well aware that using emotions to fuel the fight is destructive, and remaining focused and staying calm under pressure promotes success through proper technique and being mentally agile in order to adapt and overcome.

I don't know about the similarities. I like my chicks walking around half naked and they like theirs looking like they are about to make an appearance in a Ninja Gaiden video game.

I mean damn these women are out in the middle of a fucking desert, where temps are about 100F, and they are wearing all black. No wonder these girls want to kill someone. I hope they shower right after getting home because an hour walk in that get up guarantees you some serious water weight loss.
