Where did you sell your car ?

Guys unfortunately it's time to get rid of the E93
However I'm having some trouble.

Iv tried advertising on Autotrader and had nothing
But 19 year olds ring me up "il offer you 20k bro".

If I just wanted to sell the vehicle let's say to a company
Where would I go ?

Sytner ?
We buy any car ?

Anyone had any experience with the company's above or any others
That they can recommend ?

Give Webuyanycar a try, just to see what they offer you.

Assuming your profile is right, unless your car has sub 10k miles and was one of the last off the line, 20k is probably not a bad offer for a private sale.

If you really want rid, I'd do it before end of summer as next year there will be plenty of 4 series hammering the price of the e93.

Don't Evans Halshaw guarantee to beat the price quoted by webuyanycar?

Try wewantanycar and all the other "sell your car" to use companies.

They all use variations of similar software to calculate the valuation on a car. Sometimes you can get glitches/fluctuations which mean one company will quote you much higher than another

Dealers will sometimes buy direct from you if they think the car has resale value and its not something they currently have in stock but at best your onlu going to get the part ex value. Ideally they would be looking for you to buy something as well and if your not, dealers can be a little reluctant.

A private sale is always going to get you more cash, but you need to be patient with it and the obvious places apart from on here are autotrader, ebay and pistonheads.

We sold our Civic on Autotrader in about 2 hrs after it going up.

I did take our Civic to WBAC intially. Their online 'offer' after I had put in stone chips on the bonnet, and 2 small parking dins was £4100, after one of their car 'valuers' saw it, he priced it at £3100....On the basis he had picked out a few more stone chips and tiny mark on the bumper...Now on a £30K+ brande nearly new car, yes I would accept those things need to be sorted, but on a 7 year Honda Civic with 90K on the clock....They were trying to pull a fast one. I sold it on Autotrader that night for £4350.

The 335i I sold via pistonheads, got pretty close to the asking price, and it went with-in 2 weeks of the advert going up - Given how modified it was, I was happy.

Good luck, selling cars is never as fun as buying them

Just be prepared to get a lot less than what you deserve if you use a company. They are aiming to sell the same car back to ppl for a profit. That profit will be coming out of your pocket by not selling private yourself.

No pain no gain.
