downpipe
I just got the downpipes for 528i N20, let's hope it does not make CEL light come out since I am using aFe scorcher. I pulled trigger to try oxygen spacer, let's hope it works.

Werd, congratz on the pipe. My experience w the spacers is that they ultimately fail to work. I tried them on my E46, and they would work for a few weeks then eventually throw a code. Reset, and within a week or two it would come back.
In the meantime, enjoy the extra power and throttle response. |

okay, so the CEL comes out after 100 miles. Do I need to worry about this? there is no loss power or such things like that. I just don't mind if it comes out as long as my engine is fine.

No harm in it. Just if something really does trigger your CEL then you have no idea the car is trying to warn you.

I would get the BMS can flap module to clear the code or just upgrade to a JB4 and sell the AFE

The difference, BMS Can Flap module and MS EVC module will auto clear the CEL. While the simple OBD2, bluetooth or wifi version, paired with your smartphone, cost about $20-$30. You will need to clear it manually by the app. I do suggest reading the code before clearing it, just to make sure nothing else but the O2 sensor message.
