Coding: Exhaust Valve?

Is it possible to just code the exhaust valve to always be open?

Unfortunately no. As others have posted, you can drive aggressively with all setting at the most powerful and then stop the vehicle. You can then go under the car and unplug the electronic flap module. Cover the tips and zip tie them away. The car will have open flaps all the time.

For myself, I purchased the VSC-2 module. Installation took 15 minutes. Amazingly easy. I programmed the home link to open and close the valves. It makes my neighbors happy and me happy once I leave my community!

Thanks for sharing. Might have to snag one of those. Did you use factory default or order with a different setting?

I did not purchase factory default. I purchased open by default. This allows me to close them in the morning (neighbors), but all other cold starts I just start the car for amazing sound!

I coded off ASD and close the flaps at cruising speeds. Makes for nice quiet rides that I can actually hear the music or my telephone calls.

You have two modes only. Choose wisely.

Was it very difficult to program it to your homelink?

Not at all. Simple remote fob pairing as you would with a garage door opener. Simple 30 second endeavor.

doesn't sport mode for throttle keep them open all the time?

I put my car in accessory mode, m1 (sport throttle) touch the gas pedal (opens valves)
start car and my valves are open the whole time

why would I want to pay for something that I can do easily?

Valve operation is dynamic, depending on what mode you are in. A full list of features/modes can be found in this post:
