Audi A5 blower motor
Have tried the Audi forum but there seems to be very little activity...here is the issue:
2009 A5 3.0TDi sometimes the interior fan will work, sometimes it wont, can drive to the shops and its fine but on the way back nothing at all, causing a huge problem in winter with misting up etc. Tried turning air con on / off and fan speed manual / Auto... nothing seems to get it working again apart from restarting the engine and that's hit and miss! I have an inkling i know what it will be, the variable resistor but need it confirming and any other ideas? Would someone with VCDS be able to diagnose this type of intermittent fault? Hopefully someone has or knows a mate with capability for VCDS diagnostics in the Berkshire / Wokingham area... |

I actually had to use one of these during my college days in the e36! tough times!!
Worth keeping in the boot till you get it fixed though. Good luck. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-12V-200...item259c0f1627 |

Hi mate I have VCDS... happy to read fault codes for you so feel free to PM me and come over tomorrow. I'll be washing my car early morning... so any time before 9am is okay by me. We'll see what we can gather from the codes. It may or may not point you in the right direction.
