mystery oil leak.

just finished up with new valve cover, with gasket, RB upgraded PCV valve,
new injectors, coils, and plugs, PCV Breather hose
and an Alpena flash (since the injectors were being coded) and installed my DCI.

looking down at the metal tray there is a dip where I believe the O2 sensor wires lay?
the edge is a flange that is folded over. it seems that after I shut my car off and watch this spot I can see oil start to form in this spot. I wipe it clean and it comes back I can not tell where it is coming from, its like it is seeping out of the metal flange that is folded over the valve cover is not leaking . I am thinking maybe it is left over from the leaking VCG? and the heat Is making it flow out? thinking maybe it will stop soon?
I have looked this entire metal tray over and cannot see there it is coming from, It literally looks like it is coming out of the metal, you can watch the puddle grow.

Valve cover gasket typically leaks oil in that area. If there's no cracks on the VC itself, if recommend replacing the VCG.

Theres no other oil sources to leak to leak on that. You sure this valve cover was done properly? As in both mating surfaces properly cleaned and the seal installed correctly? Some times installer pinches the seal or it partially falls out during install. Its also imperative the bolts are torqued properly and no broken bolts.

yes, I did it myself, actually I think it might have been left over oil from the leak before that was still lingering in the area, as I think it has quit now. I will keep an eye on it
