2016 build start?
Typically BMW starts to build the new model year at the beginning of July.
Are 2015 orders still being taken or is it now 2016 model year? My current BMW lease is up at the end of August so I need to make a decision soon. Hopefully we'll see the 2016 pricing soon. |

Base price on the 228i is $750 more and M235i is $1050 more. There's no sportline... M-sport package is $500 less but doesn't include sport seats?! Premium package is about $1000 less but doesn't include leather upholstery?! What are they thinking? Am I missing something here? |

If the leather option stays at the current $1450, then an equivalent 2016 build M235i with metallic paint, premium pkg, HK audio will cost $48,025, compared to $47,625 for a 2015. The new M235i wheels have a dark color option. Last edited by RPM90; 05-29-2015 at 11:59 PM.. |

So, sport seats standard but non sport seats available as part of luxury package. Interesting. Makes sense about dropping sport line. My dealer only seemed to order Msport or base.

Yeah I mean I think it's an option. But I don't think the standard wheels changed.

For whatever reason when I first looked at the PDF I didn't see that last page. Yes, the 2016 standard wheel is model 436M, code 2PG, which does look like the current model. In the pictures the dark 436M wheels look very dark. Not for me, but it's great to have options. Thanks for pointing that out. Also, the metallic paint cost didn't go up. Not sure where I got the $895 price from. Last edited by RPM90; 05-30-2015 at 12:00 AM.. |
