1M on 93 octane pump gas 410whp and 424wtq

i have a 1M with FBO with the cobb tune. in the past i have had Jake at PTF tune my car in which i was not impressed. i was later told about efilogics of ft lauderdale which tuned my car on the dyno and was a step up from PTF. but did not feel like 400hp car and i have the dyno to prove it that it was not a 400hp car. finally, i was told about ********/wedge performance, gave them a try and wow what a difference. in my experience ********/wedge performance is by far superior tuners compared to the rest. i would highly recommend ********/wedge performance to anyone that has a cobb and an N54. give me some ********/wedge performance.

Great numbers David! I knew you'd be happy with the switch.

If you are implying that the OP did not have a clue as to what boost and timing he was runing your are wrong if that is what you got out of his reply. Thats why he posted the logs so he wouldnt have to deal with the those questions

He has been questioning me from since day 1 about hiting 20 PSI, his timing etc .

Just an FYI the car was street tuned gear to gear and it was not dynoed tune. The dyno was to see what he was putting down in real world conditions on the street.

A note for everyone, no two cars are the same. Which means, just because the OP was able to get over 400+ whp / wtq on pump gas does not mean you car will do it. He has access to good quality 93 octane SHELL gas that isnt mixed with other octane. Not to mention his supported mods and being E60 ready.

I am so hesitant to even come to this forum anymore for this reason, I get so frustrated with people's attitude and lack of knowledge. If it weren't for the historical threads and marketplace I'd never come on here. BTW love your car

Yep, as I said on the other forum, this is an aggressive tune, but is working WELL for his car. Timing, etc look solid. You can tell it is dialed-in well.

Once you go E60, you'll never go back to pump

zayzay great numbers. For the record, Jake has always erred slightly on the conservative side when tuning especially given you're on pump gas. Glad you're happy with your new setup and its working well for you and your car. Dzenno is our master tuner and you can request anything from mild to wild in your tune especially on the N54. Jake has been running Motiv since October last year producing some of the nicest and best performing single turbo kit hardware in the N54 market today.

Then not sure why the attitude when someone asks about his tune. It would have been easier to say 20psi tapering than look at the logs.

Either way, nice numbers, but goddam, most people are here to learn, not get bitched at for not reading his logs.

Very impressive.

I'm at 370whp and 470wtq on 93 octane and FBO. Wish my whp was higher but oh well.

I'm sure the OP is not bothered by questions or has an attitude for that mater as I would be if my car put down those numbers on 93 pump gas.

Can't say enough about how good Wedge is. They tuned my Z4 on 93 and on E40 and both run great. I plan to get on the dyno with my E40 tune on Wednesday and I hope to put down some good numbers. OP those are great numbers for 93. Are you able to get 93 that is not mixed with some E85?

I also have a 93 and E40 tune from PTF and my preference is Wedge.

His 93 pump gas is regular E10 pump gas if Im understanding you correctly. The SHELL gas station he frequents is an extremely busy station so trucks are there constantly filling up the station with fresh gas.

I've been monitoring his fuel quality for over a month now and its consistent, his mods help a lot although I do not like him being completely catless with just resignators, but in n all the mod chemistry works very well for his car.

If his car made this type of power on just 93 E10 pump gas I can only fathom to imagine what numbers he would put down when he goes E60. He will be upgrading his inlets, TMAP sensor and clutch before going E60.

On our venture to this type of power he had to get all new plugs and coils also. Injectors were performing health also. There is even more possibility that we can get more power IDK, I did not show my entire hand yet on this car. He might be going back to the dyno again after his inlets get installed and do another pump gas dyno run

For everyone else, keep in mind the ambient temps were 94° F+ on the dyno in humid south Florida. So hes got a lot more power just as is when temps and DA drop

1M Update

We decided to bump things up a bit more to get more power on pump, and will be going back to the dyno

Again keep in mind this car is not dyno tuned. So the numbers you will see, and have seen, are the realistic minimum numbers the car puts down gear to gear in real world conditions

Looks good. The 93 tune for my Z4 that you built looks similar. I have a little less timing and boost.

I still have more to add to your pump gas map also which was already included in your latest E map
