228i Downpipe Needed

This is an easy question, who makes the best (build quality) dp for the F22/23 228i? I'm thinking I can get away with a catless design and still pass emissions and am leaning towards a ER unit.

Thoughts?

@OpenAir , let me know if you need help in getting a hand on one.
I do recommend ER though.

Thanks, I just took a look at your site and you don't list anything for the 2 series yet.

2 series share parts with 3 series.
It goes under F22 chassis code.

Yes, the flange size, length of the pipe and diameter most likely will be different.

Will the use of a cat-less dp cause error codes with the emission controls in the vehicle? If so, can these be coded?

Catless will trigger CEL. With JB4 Stage 2, it will clears it automatically.
If you decided to go with aftermarket downpipe, I suggest to pair it with BMS JB4.

Thanks again for your input. I'm 80% sure I'm going with an ER Catless and GSR tune at this point.

You are welcome !!
If you do not wish to get the JB4, you can also get the BMS can flap module to clear the code.

AR is another great choice that is equal to ER in terms of finish quality and fitment.

Well, after some serious research I'm going to forgo the downpipe for now and focus on the GSR Stage I tune and some exhaust work. Thanks to everyone for your advice and assistance.

Now I need to find the right muffler to add some additional "soul" to my ride!
