Roundel for F30 hood, options?

So my friend and I ordered a 15 328xi wagon and a 335i sedan.

We purchased a set of the blacked out Roundels hoping to swap them all over (here is the set http://www.ebay.com/itm/251927783498...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

It looks like all of them are correct except for the hood roundel, its the correct size at 84mm but the frame it sits in is apparently the older style two post design.

We are wondering if anyone knows if you can just place the new inner portion in the original 3 hold frame or retrofit the 2 post one to fit.

has anyone had to deal with this issue?

This is just a sign that you should not mess with the roundel.

How are they getting away with selling them for $399, what am I missing?

I think you misread it. It's at 38.99 right now

This is also why I preferred the rounded emblem. Stuck them on and when I got tired just took it off. I prefer the oem roundels to eBay ones..
