Performance Friction!!

I don't know about you guys, but I have always enjoyed Performance Friction pads for my various BMW track cars. And it's a SHAME that they haven't made a pad yet for the F8x platform!!

So, this thread will hopefully shed light on the subject and let PFC know that there IS a demand for their pads!

Please chime in! And feel free to bug your vendor of choice and ask them to bug PFC!

I think they know there is demand. Most vendors have been pushing them. I emailed them and I know other have too. They have no immediate plans for the car as of a month ago. I think their efforts are elsewhere at the moment.

PFC needs to make our brake pads. They're tolerable for the street.

I drove F80's with both Pagid's and Carbotech's on the STREET and the Pagid's were actually more obnoxious; they had a ton of initial knock-back. The XP10's in the rear held up great, not so great in the front. Would like to see Performance Friction come out with an option though. Count me in!

I'd suggest maybe the Pagid RSL-1 for the street. I had excellent luck with the RS29 at the racetrack (NHMS). Much more initial bite when cold than the RS-19/RS-7.

I can't imagine it would be too difficult to offer a single compound in the correct sizes. Disappointing they aren't interested.

I started using Pagid RS after Performance Friction and I like them better.

PFC FTW

I am sure they will release the compounds once they get a break. They are generally behind on everything which probably contributes to them not taking a new project.

Can't go wrong with either one. Among those two, compound selection is more important than which brand.

One of Performance Friction's main reps is a good friend of ours. Something is in the pipeline.

Tell them to hurry up every chance they get! They already have a pad for the rear as it matches the 235!
