The same complaining took place when BMW named the 335 and the engine only had 3.0 liters.... Because 330T or 330 turbo made too much sense. This won't get nearly the annoyance as making the 3 series coupe a 4 series.

Not to mention the 4 series now has a grand coupe (4 door....) there goes that logic

Ya I just saw one recently and was WTF. BMW naming has removed any logic or common sense. Its basically random numbers and letters now.

Yeah, I could handle the occasional fudging of the numbers in order to show a "performance index" scale for turbos; they've been doing that since the E23 745. Breaking the models out into coupe and saloon, but then building saloons in the coupe designations just makes no sense.

Haha EXACTLY!!

And by all means.....mods feel free to move this to a different section. I thought this directly related to us turbo guys so wanted to let everyone know who hasn't heard yet.
